The National names more winners in masthead comp

THREE winners of the The National masthead competition love to read the newspaper every day;
In Port Moresby, Larry Benny from the Kiriwina Island in Milne Bay said he put aside K2 every day to buy the paper.
“I love to read The National every day because it is where most of the jobs are advertised (and it is where) news on the country and the world are found,” Benny said.
“I used to save K2 everyday (to buy) the newspaper.
“Reading it has become one of my hobbies.
“I tried this competition for the first time last week Monday and could not believe that I won.”
He plans to use the K250 prize money to buy a new phone.
Benny, 24, lives with his sister at Hohola.
Benny graduated from Port Moresby Business College last year with a diploma in accounting and is currently looking for job.
Meanwhile, in Lae, the two female winners thanked the company for producing the best daily from Monday to Friday.
Sophie Badui, from Jiwaka, who lives at Nadzab with her husband, said she always bought the newspaper on her way to work.
“I love to read the Daily Bread and horoscope each day because they motivate me,” she said.
“Since the competition began, I buy the paper every day.”
Damaris Ipambonj from East Sepik loves to buy The National every morning.
“I like the news content which is much better to read, and the neat layout of the paper.”
