There is only one prime minister

LET us all get one thing straight – there is only one prime minister – not two and that is Sir Michael Somare.
The Supreme Court made that decision on Monday.
Is that so difficult to understand?
Peter O’Neill and company are desperately holding onto power.
They have shown that they have no respect, regard and understanding of the laws when they voted themselves into office before and immediately after the Supreme Court decision.
O’Neill’s election was ruled illegal by the five-man Supreme Court.
Not only is his election on Monday a blatant and contemptuous act against the judiciary but unconstitutional as well.
The law clearly states that there cannot be a new prime minister in the 12 months leading up to the general election.
O’Neill and Belden Namah are setting a bad precedent.
They are changing the laws to suit themselves, not the country and its six million plus people.
We have laws begging to be passed that will benefit the nation but they hardly get a second look.
Yet the changes they did to the Prime Minister and NEC Act all happened in one afternoon.
Yes, O’Neill and Namah have the numbers.
And that is causing them to make stupid and arrogant decisions.
O’Neill and company’s mad rush to the Government House was pathetic and showed they were after only one thing – power.
I rejoiced when the Somare regime of nine years was thrown out and O’Neill came into power.
But I am now gravely concerned as to the manner in which it is operating.
We do not need any legal interpretation of the situation.
The Supreme Court has ruled, respect its decision and let our laws reign supreme.
Let us abide by that.
I call on Tom Kulunga, all policemen and agents of state to recognise the decision made by the Supreme Court and nothing else.
I love my country and I do not want it to go down the sewers because of the greed, stupidity and arrogance of a few leaders.
I hope common sense will prevail and we will have peace and normalcy again.
