Three women join team

A WOMAN council president in Southern Highlands says delivering basic goods and services to the people is her priority.
Imbonggu–Proper local level go­v­ernment president Mary Kema  said that while appointing three women to work with her.
She named Anna Thomas as LLG treasurer, Lewa Keri as secretary and Tieve James as her deputy president and said service delivery was the key that could do a lot to change a person.
She said she trusted the three women to support her.
“I have the vision to serve the people and with the appointment of these women, I believe they will back me to develop the LLG,” she said. “My appointment is a victory for the small people.”
