PRIMA Small Goods still remain the foundation sponsor of Gulf Isapea for the third successive year with K120,000 in preparation towards the 2013 PNGNRL Digicel Cup.

The company came on board with the Gulf franchise in its maiden season in 2011 and remains loyal to continue its relationship and proud of that.

The major sponsor of the Gulf franchise is Petroleum Resources Kutubu who will announce a further K200,000 soon.

That was the message from Prima Sales and Marketing Manager Mai Ori witnessed by company director Fabian Chow, Gulf Governor/Isapea Patron Havilla Kavo and representative from Kerema Open MP’s office and Isapea Board chairman Peter Loko and CEO Ronald Ori.

Prima’s Ori said the sponsorship package includes cash, players/officials incentives, merchandising and logistic support cover.

He said as expected, high level of discipline on and off the field should be paramount as the support signified on its good image in the country.

We know the Isapea’s have the talents and new attitude to climb up the ladder in the 2013 Digicel Cup.

Prima Director Chow said it’s exciting to work with a new team and tough competition to touch and go with stage to drive extra and little bit to win games.

Gulf Governor and Patron Kavo supported the same sentiments on discipline as important and appealed to the board, management and players to highest level.

Kavo is confident that the franchise has 60% or above in making the finals this season with the new inclusions they have and history to give their best for the people of Gulf.

Isapea’s chairman Loko said the franchise has a target to meet and that is to make the finals and discipline will deliver them that aim.

He said the head coach Nigel Hukula and technical director Mark Mom have instilled new directives in the camp which players adapted to in the last eight weeks.

The Isapeas play their first come away against the Bintangor Goroka Lahanis in the Digicel Cup opener.
