It is time to call back Eliab, Abavu and Teteh

Letters

WITH due respect to Hunters’ management, especially selectors, it is time to call back Israel Eliab, Bland Abavu and Thompson Teteh (Thompson) back for the remaining rounds.
The current backline lacks ‘big stage’ experience compared to the three players.
Eliab is a utility back who plays centre and five/eight positions in the Hunters, as we know.
Abavu is also an experienced Hunter, has the height and skills to fit perfectly in the fullback position left by Stargoth Amean, which he once played.
Teteh, a World Cup Kumul squad member, should have been a priority inclusion for the 2018 Hunters.
How could we deny his skills and experience?
Teteh was a solid centre for the Hunter since 2014 and never showed sign of weakness in defense and attack until his move to the Dolphins.
His performance in three games so far with the Vipers showed that he still got that stamina. It’s now or never.
A reshuffled backline may be what the Hunters need.
