Top cops in ESP arrested

TWO police station commanders in East Sepik have been arrested by police in Madang in relation to an alleged murder case last year.
Inspector Kevin Hombehoie, 39, of Waramaru in East Yangoru is the Yangoru rural police station commander.
Sergeant Moses Pilai, 35, from Kumun village in West Yangoru is the Tangori rural police station commander.
They travelled by boat from Wewak to Madang last Sunday.
Madang police commander acting Superintendent Mazuc Rubiang said the two officers both from the Yangoru-Saussia in East Sepik, would be questioned over an alleged murder case at Hambile village in East Yangoru last year.
He said they would have to prove their innocence in court.
The officers are being detained in the police cell in Madang.
