REIGNING Women’s National Soccer League Northern Conference champions Poro will face Bara in the top-of-the-table clash at Papua New Guinea Football Association Education Centre at 11-Mile outside Lae tomorrow.
In the other conference matches, Rainy Lae will face Lahi Power in Lae while Tusbab Laidamon will host LFA Originals in Madang.
Poro coach Troy Gunemba told The National yesterday that his players would look to rebound from their 1-7 loss to Lae Biscuit Company-sponsored Bara in round one.
“We’re not underestimating Bara as they are a great side with a lot of experience,” the former midfielder said. “In the first round, we were without Meagan Gunemba and Betty Sam who were called up for national duties but they are now back to boost the team.
“We’re ready for the game.”
Poro will count on Meagan, Rakele Seka, Aileen David, Raynata Samuel and Ramu import Karen Kalapai to lead their attack.
