THE Corporate Touch Port Moresby (CTPM) competition is reaching its peak with junior divisions unleashing talents through development teams on display at the footy field at Murray Barracks.
President Elsie Girisa said this after two junior development teams showed progress by competing against elites in the opening round matches of the season.
“We have competitions for the junior divisions (U16) each weekend but one of the highlights we’ve noticed is how two clubs ‘On Track Solutions (OTS) Tribes and Funeral Home (FH) Parapellas open men’s development teams have progressed since the season started.
“Both teams consist of junior players, however due to their skills, they were placed into the premier division this season to test their limits against the best which include their own elite men’s teams,” Girisa said.
She said the open men’s and open women’s divisions have seen an increase of teams allowing juniors to have a taste of competing against the senior players.
“Most of the juniors have proven themselves that they can play alongside the seniors.”
