Traffic issue in Lae

HIS picture shows a traffic issue in Lae City where traffic is held up and there is a potential risk in accidents occurring, caused by semi-trailers turning into a container storage yard along Milford Haven Road, which was previously a Courts retail store.
Shipping container storage yards should be located away from main streets in the city so as to avoid congestions and accidents such as vehicle crashes and shipping container falling on people who normally congregate under some of the age long remaining rain trees in Lae City.
Thus could Lae City Authority and relevant government agencies seriously review the zone planning and relocate this logistics company out of this area before any serious accidents happen, apart from the damage done to the kerb and drain pipes leading into the site.
