Trainers complete assessment course

TWENTY participants from IEA colleges throughout the country attended their third and final block of the training and assessment course at the Coronation College in Lae, Morobe province, last week.
The course is part of IEA’s priority to maintain international standards in its course delivery.
The course, which started last September, is a requirement by the National Training Council and Australian Quality Framework that all TAFE trainers have to do and qualify in order to teach technical training courses.
The participants came from IEA colleges in Lae, Mt Hagen, Rabaul and Port Moresby.
