Trio caught producing, selling homebrew

TWO men and a woman from Goilala in Central were arrested and charged with producing and selling homebrew at Gerehu Stage 5 in NCD on Saturday.
According to police, the Fox Unit acted on a tip-off and apprehended the three.
“The homebrewed spirit stored in a 20-litre container will be presented in court,” police said.
“We appeal to residents of NCD and Central to help us reduce such illegal activities by reporting perpetrators to your nearest police station, or contact the Boroko Police Station emergency number 1800100 at any time.
“All information provided, including the identity of our informants, will be treated with confidentiality.”
