Trukai backs rugby league tourneys with K60,000

TRUKAI Industries Limited has thrown its support behind the Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League with a K60,000 sponsorship for three tournaments over the next two months.
The sponsorship will cover the Pacific Australia Sports National Women’s Championship, National Zone Championships and Kumul Petroleum National Schools Rugby League Championships.
The schools championships started yesterday and will end on Saturday at the Oil Search National Football Stadium in Port Moresby.
Games will be telecasted live on EMTV with a delayed broadcast on Sunday. The women’s and zone tournaments will take place from Oct 17-24.
The sponsorship continues to show Trukai’s strong commitment to sports development in PNG.
