Trukai gives winners more reason to cook up a storm this Christmas

Islands

ELEVEN consumers of Trukai Industries Limited’s Roots medium grain rice in the New Guinea Islands have won K1000 each plus and a 20kg of their favourite rice.
Trukai Industries in Kokopo held its first draw for its “Roots Win a share of K500,000” last Wednesday.
Kokopo/Rabaul sales manager Ben Hapo said it was the first draw, with five more to go.
For the region, there will be 29 winners and K125,000 to share.
Hapo said the promotion was for people to buy Roots rice as the money would remain in the country, thus contributing to the economy. Hapo said Trukai Industries had invested K1 million to support exports by getting behind big events in the country.
“Customers must have trust in our products because we are giving back to the country,” Hapo said.
He said customers were excited about winning the prizes.
The second draw will be held in Rabaul tomorrow.
