Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League chairman Sandis Tsaka has again warned individuals not to play under more than one affiliation, as they risk being suspended.
Tsaka said that yesterday after some players registered under the Port Moresby Rugby League (PRL) and Moresby South Rugby League (MSRL) were found playing for other affiliations at the Southern Confederate trials at the National Football Stadium.
Tsaka made it clear that players abusing the rule would face PNGRFL suspension.
Southern Confederation director Gwaibo Mairi said he was against the Central Provincial League’s (CPL) move to field players registered under other affiliations, including PRL.
PRL competition coordinator David Silovo confirmed that several of their players were playing for CPL and Koiari.
MSRL chairman Brown Murema also confirmed some of his players were in the CPL side.
