The undefeated Gordon Kokofas, led by skipper Bena Michael, face the West Eagles in the Port AFL pre-season final at Colts Oval tomorrow.
Aside from the experience Bena, the Kokofas also have national representative Hapeo Bobogae boosting their chances.
The Eagles, who lost two games and just pipped Lamana Dockers on percentage to finish second, earned the right to face the Kokofas.
The Kokofas will be up against the Eagles’ Jeffery Namete, Gregory Ekari, Dunstan Kase, Raymond Vogae, and Alois Mondo.
The Eagles have a fast flowing forward line, with Mathew Pulah Jr leading the way.
After finishing third, Lamana Dockers will battle it out with the Bomana Cats.
The Dockers will be backed by captain Wesley Yuwi, Emmanuel Tupia, Collins Slim, Desmond Kaumu, Laurie Logo, Clyde Pulah, Robert Gogens, Mal Avia and Garry Kele.
They will be put to the test against the Cats’ Kila Rawali and Peter Lavong.
Rawali and Lavong, with PNG Mozzies star Kataha Siwee, will be leading their young pack.
The winner of the Kokofas-West Eagles match will pocket K1000 and the runner-up K500.
For the Cats-Dockers game, the winner will receive K300 and runner-up K200.
