Uni marks anniversary

THE Institute of Business Studies University (IBSU), last Tuesday, marked its 4th anniversary, operating as a recognised tertiary institution in the country.
IBS founder and chairman Sir Mick Nades urged the staff to build and improve the university.
Sir Mick said the National Executive Council (NEC) had approved the institution’s status as a university on Dec 1, 2016.
“Today is a very important day in our history,” he said.
“One of its important milestone achievements was four years ago on this date when the NEC approved the establishment of IBS University,” he said.
Sir Mick said it was a proud moment for IBS and thanked the Government as well as the ministry of higher education.
He said on Jan 25, 2017, the IBSU at 6-Mile was gazetted as university.
