University assists athletes

Eight Team Papua New Guinea athletes are the latest intakes of the IBS University’s athlete excellence programme which is done in partnership with the Papua New Guinea Olympic Committee.
The athletes compete in karate, volleyball, basketball and football.
PNG Olympic Committee secretary-general Auvita Rapilla thanked IBSU for assisting the athletes.
“Our athletes spend most of their lives representing our country and many of them do not get the chance to pursue their educational qualifications,” she said.
