University students get certificate in leadership

Twenty students from Divine Word University received certificates for completing a leadership training programme on diversity and inclusion.
The participants received certificates of participation in “diversity and inclusion leadership programme”, which aims to make students able to appreciate diversity and be inclusive in decision-making.
Registrar Cecilia N’Drower congratulated the participants and encouraged them to develop the skills.
“I hope what has been imparted to you is a start of more to come,” N’Drower said.
She said the programme resulted from student Bilu Kasanda attending the Association of Commonwealth Universities Residential School programme in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in December.
