Update common roll immediately

THE Government has to allow for an early national census to be conducted in order for the common roll to be updated. With the increase in population, many young men and women would be eligible to vote in next year’s national general elections. This mammoth task should be given ample time to be carried out in order to be effectively conducted and complete. During last year’s Goroka open by-election, a lot of people were lured with money.  This should not have happened. Despite installing surveillance cameras, things weren’t done right. It’s time the Government takes this seriously.
