Urakusie sees lack of direction as cause for losing streak

GOROKA Lahanis have yet to win after four rounds of the Digicel Cup and the job gets no easier as they face the unbeaten Mendi Muruks this weekend.
Lahanis coach and former captain Gonzella Urakusie said his side were playing with no direction and a lack of understanding for their individual roles in the team.
He said this with his team coming off a 4-22 loss to Rabaul Gurias at the Oil Search National Football in round three.
Former SP Hunters forward Urakusie said their performance had proved that their confidence level was at a low point.
“Every player is not taking ownership of the respective positions they are playing at,” he said.
“They don’t know their roles and they are not executing.
“I think we are really down on confidence.
“The players need to take note of what they learned at training, digest it and execute it.”
