Utilise funds to improve district

IT is apparent that the Bulolo district development authority (DDA) is using district services improvement (DSIP) funds to maintain the national highway which is completely outside of its jurisdiction.
Feeder roads such as the Waria/Garaina road, Lekwara, Bitoi, Kaindi and Baini are some of the roads that are under the jurisdiction of the DDA for DSIP funding.
There are guidelines that should be followed when determining projects to be funded.
Thus, Bulolo DDA funding sections of the national highway maintenance into Gabensis which is in Huon Gulf district is a complete misuse of funds.
