Value your marriage, youths told

Faith

A Catholic clergy has called for young people to respect and value marriage because family starts with it.
Cardinal Sir John Ribat said good marriage is a virtuous way of preparing for future.
“As young people, you will start your own family through marriage, he said.
“To start a good family, marriage is one of the areas you have to prepare it.
“If there is anything that young people have to value in your young life, then it is your marriage.
“Keep your relationship strong in the church and let it grow into your future.”
Sir John emphasised the leadership role the young people will play in the future in their church and communities.
“Young people with good marriage will contribute meaningfully to the growth of the church, the government and the country,’’ Sir John said.
“We gave time to young people in our meetings in each parish and they speak freely and openly of themselves about the marriage in the changing world.
“We see our young speak confidently about marriage. It is really a good sign of preparing themselves for their future.
“They see marriage has something that is sacred and something they value so much and they will enter into it.
“Good marriage is a great contribution to the family itself and the church, the community and the nation as a whole.
“They learn to understand the values that goes with it. Caring for the family, the community, the church that is very important.
“So we encourage to participate in the community, church and in family because they are part of our future.
“It is exciting to see our young people often participates in each parish. That is the exhibition of strong growing faith.”
