GALAXY want their performances to do the talking as they aim to top group A of the Oceania Football Confederation Champions League which kicks off in Port Moresby on Sunday.
The 25-man Vanuatu outfit arrived at the Jackson International Airport ahead of their three group matches at the Sir John Guise Stadium.
They will be boosted by two Brazilians — midfielder Diego Maximo and Roberson Felipe — and English striker Terence Carter.
They will also have the services of Solomon Islands internationals Nelson Kalifa and Gagame Feni, who is a former Hekari United player.
Club owner Andrew Leong told The National that his side were made up of experienced players and young talent.
“We know we are up against some of the best teams in Oceania,” he said.
“Most of the team have never been to Papua New Guinea and they don’t know the conditions here but we will take it one game at a time.
“Our biggest challenge will be (defending champions) Hienghene Sport and we are looking forward to taking them on.
“But we don’t want to talk too much. We’d rather let our performances do the talking.”
Galaxy will play Hienghene Sport in the opening match which kicks off on Sunday at 12pm followed by the clash between Hekari United and New Zealand’s Eastern Suburbs at 3pm.
Meanwhile, Hienghene Sport and Eastern Suburbs arrive today.
