Village needs water supply

THE village of Ku in Sinasina-Yongomugl, Chimbu, was called Ku some years back.
The people of Ku have set the standard for the entire Chimbu people in terms of having high covenant houses.
However, these houses are collecting dust.
The people of Ku need water supply.
It is an eyesore to see the people struggling to access contaminated water sources beside the main Highlands Highway.
Individuals’ access to clean and safe drinking water is a universal basic human right as stipulated in various international human rights laws.
To see the people of Ku, dwelling among some of the high quality shelters creeping out and having direct access to polluted water is funny, but a fact that cannot be denied.
Can our MP and Petroleum Minister Kerenga Kua do something about this?
Has he got any plans for the people of Ku?
The people of Ku have ticked every boxes except for water supply and small to medium enterprises incentives to help them be self reliant.
The leaders of Ku who claim to represent the people of Sikambi have lost focus of their leadership.
