BRENDON Gotuno will start at fullback as the SP Hunters wrap up their Intrust Super Cup season against South Logan Magpies in Brisbane, Australia, on Sunday (3.05pm kick-off).
The former Port Moresby Vipers flyer replaces the in-form Terry Wapi who has been released for compassionate reasons.
Nick Hasu starts at half back while Jerry Teme takes up the hooking role. Paul Wawa, Shane Haro, Bland Abavu, Butler Morris and Dilbert Isaac have been named on the extended bench.
The final 18-man travelling team will be named tomorrow. The team leave for Brisbane on Saturday for the Davies Park encounter.
The 13-placed Hunters — who have three wins, a draw and 18 losses — will be eager to end their season on a high noted and give retiring veteran Adex Wera the farewell he deserves.
But the Hunters, who have conceded on average of 33 points a game and have a completion rate of 65 per cent, will need to turn up with the right attitude if they are to beat the 10th-placed Magpies at home. Meanwhile, the 14th-placed Central Queensland Capras will finish the season with the wooden spoon, having only won and drawn one.
