Ward leaders told to work together

Inter-Governmental Relations Minister Kevin Isifu is calling on governors, local level government presidents and councillors to work together to see tangible development in their provinces during these tough economic times.
“We have to find ways to cooperate and work together to deliver services even in these difficult times. It is not easy but I I’m sure if we cooperate and work together we will find solutions,” he said.
Isifu said that in his Christmas message to the 22 governors, 324 LLG presidents and over 6000 councilors from his Kitpeng Building office in Port Moresby on Tuesday.
“As your minister I call on each one of you to call on me as part of your conduit to raiseissues of concern in these difficult times so I can find the right avenue at the national Government to find the right solutions,” he said.
