Water supply issue

COULD the relevant authorities of Kokopo City spare a thought or two for the suffering residents of one of its suburbs – Ulaveo?
For the past four years, residents have been without a decent water supply.
Right now, due to the prolonged dry spell, the tanks are empty and resident have to walk to the nearby creek to fetch water for cooking, laundry, showers and toilets as well as for drinking.
Residents there include prominent public servants, businesspeople, expatriates, etc
As to how long this suffering has to be endured is for those vested with power and authority to decide.
In the meantime, our plight continues, not knowing when and from where help will arrive.
