Well done, Sandaun

AS a strong advocate of education and human resources development, I was overjoyed to read the story in The National on Dec 12, page 7, ‘NCD schools top national exams’.
NCD has everything to provide to the students, thus receive outstanding performances this year.
However, Sandaun is special.
Sandaun has proven to the nation that it can produce some of the best results year by year.
My congratulations to the hardworking teachers in remote Oksapmin High School and the prominent secondary schools of Don Bosco, St Ignatius and Vanimo Secondary.
For the other schools within the province, the results here can also help us to improve and achieve better every year.
If NCD can do it, so can we.
We have done it this year and we can always improve because we are intelligent and humble people.
Thank you to all the head teachers and the Sandaun provincial and district education services for all your invaluable support to the success at the national exams this year.
And finally, best wishes to the parents and those who had individually set a mark for your school. Thank you all.
And for the four district MPs, thank you for your contribution to achieving the results of our schools in Sandaun this year and please continue to support the human resources development and make i your number one development priority.
