ongratulations to TVWAN for acquiring the rights to broadcast NRL in PNG. I am very happy that I will now be watching my favourite NRL team play in high definition from my Digicel Play Box. I for one am a supporter for change and am happy that this has occurred so that the standards of TV broadcasting can be raised than just being stagnant. Even though there have been a lot of people talking about how they will be disadvantaged because they do not have a Play Box to watch the NRL, well I for one was disadvantaged when the Pacific Games was on EMTV. I heard that EMTV disapproved TVWAN’s request to broadcast the Pacific Games even after they offered to pay for the feed. EMTV will lose most of its viewers now that TVWAN has the advantage.
