Where is Sir Mekere?

OUR Moresby North West MP Sir Mekere Morauta has been absent from his electorate and has not been representing us in parliament more than five months now.
I am raising this concern as a Morata resident and Sir Mekere’s voter.
Can the Parliament Privilege Committees and Ombudsman Commission suspend Sir Mekere and audit the service improvement programme funds for the electorate?
It is unbecoming of a leader to deliberately avoid delivering services in his electorate.
The roadworks in Morata area is taking shape thanks to the National Capital District Governor Powes Parkop.
Sir Mekere should not get credit as he has never counter-funded this project. He simply ignored the deteriorated roads in his electorate.

  • He has wasted 8 solid years as member for Moresby north west and has nothing to show for in fixing 35 year old ring road called Tarumana Avenue Gerehu Stage 3B2 . Its needs K5 million to reseal 2.5 kilometers road.
