THE Western Highlands government donated a K800,000 four-in-one double classroom to Rebiamul Primary School in Mt Hagen last week.
Governor Paias Wingti visited the school and informed the management that the classroom would be built this year by Essar Project PNG Ltd.
This will become Wingti’s second four-in-one double built for Rebiamul.
Head teacher William Yoka said this classroom was a relief because it currently had more than 1,000 students and space was their major concern.
He said this was the kind of support that would promote quality education because when such infrastructure development were in place, quality education would become the top priority.
“Schools needs this kind of infrastructure to teach,” he said.
Yoka described it as a major support from the provincial government and he would make sure that such infrastructure development would produce the best for Rebiamul.
“Rebiamul is privilege to receive this support from Wingti and I promised that with this project, we will produce better results,” he said.
