Why increase ministries to 32?

THE government has increased the number of ministries from 27 to 32.
What greed!
It is obvious that PNG is over-governed but effective delivery of services is almost non-existent.
Where is good governance?
Do we blame the government if those guilty of corrupt dealings in the public sector are not dealt with by the government’s law enforcing agencies?
Who is going to fix the “big black holes” in government delivery system?
Dare we hope the new government after the 2012 elections will deal with that?
The current government is not concerned with that.
If all the government departments are failed entities, aren’t we living in a failed state?
If the government claims the economy is good, why is it that portions of the Highlands Highway that are damaged cannot be repaired?
When is the government going to fix the potholes in Lae?
We have thousands of unemployed school leavers and university graduates.
How will they find gainful employment?
And will the new ministries enable us to fix all the potholes and “big black holes”?
