Wife in court for husband’s death

A woman, who allegedly killed her husband after he failed to respond to her phone calls, appeared for mention at the Waigani Committal Court last week.
Kellyn Grace Kande, 22, originally from Karanas village in Ialibu, Southern Highlands, was charged with one count of murder. Magistrate Alex Kalandi told Kande that her charge was very serious and if she considered bail, she could seek it at the National Court with the help of a lawyer.
Magistrate Kalandi adjourned the case to Oct 1 to allow police to conduct further investigation.
Police alleged that on Aug 19 at Somare Street ,at 4-Mile, in Port
Moresby, Kande stabbed Ishmael Indepine.
