Wise decision

Letters

THE recent move by Eastern Highlands Governor Peter Numu to cross the floor of Parliament and join Opposition, after 18 months of being with Government, is a wise decision he has made not for his own interest but for the interest of his 700,000 people of the province.
Eastern Highlands people who mandated Numu to be their governor totally agree with him for the decision he has made.
He is brave and intelligent and has made a history for himself and people of Eastern Highlands.
We salute you, governor, because you are a true leader who has a heart for your people.
He has also explained to people of Eastern Highlands why he moved to Opposition, and they have expressed satisfaction.
The people of Eastern Highlands have also learnt that the Waigani bureaucratic red tape has treated them unfairly by deciding not to work with neither their governor nor Agriculture Minister Benny Allan to facilitate approval of the K1 billion kina agriculture industrial park project documents.
If the documents were ready, then the president of China, who is funding the project, would have signed them during Apec meeting in Port Moresby last year.
Please do not treat Eastern Highlanders like that because generally we are not that bad people.
Get this project on line again and we will help ourselves by getting into agriculture
