Lae’s graveyard … A stretch of road along the AirCorps Road in Lae, Morobe, has been a graveyard for most motorists over the years after it was completed. When driving from the AirCorps-Mangola Street roundabout towards the DCA beachfront, one will notice that the road is wide and, when approaching Karimun Street, it narrows into a single lane. This, obviously, needed redoing as is evident in this picture by our photographer, LARRY ANDREW. During heavy rain, this section of the road gets even worse. The clogged drains would force floodwaters onto the main road, causing safety issues and even accidents.
