Yesterday afternoon, members of the Opposition paid tribute to the late Minister for Education and Member for Usino-Bundi, Jimmy Uguro at the haus krai organised by the Madang community. Opposition Leader Douglas Tomuriesa, his deputy James Nomane, Alternate Prime Minister Allan Bird, Vanimo Green-River MP Belden Namah, Bulolo MP Sam Basil Jr, Hiri-Koiari MP Keith Iduhu and Ijivitari MP David Arore represented their colleagues and were received by Madang Governor Ramsey Pariwa. Tomuriesa, in remembrance of the late leader, expressed his condolences to the people of Usino-Bundi and remembered late Uguro as a hardworking minister who didn’t mix politics with service delivery. The Opposition contributed cash, two pigs and garden kaikai toward the late leader’s haus krai. – Picture supplied
