Motorists travelling along the Sepik Coastal Highway, between Aitape and Wewak, have to go past this steep drive before crossing the Lun River in Ulau.
It may be dangerous for some vehicles, especially those with heavy loads.
Landslips have become common in this area during the wet season.
This section has been closed in the past weeks because of flooding .
