A recent flood at Laswari in Jiwaka has washed out the semi permanent bridge man made bridge that help vehicles to travel to Jimi.
Joseph Gore who was travelling along that road towards Jimi, said they had to fix the road using logs in order to make it accessible for cars to cross.
Vehicles such as Landcruisers could make the trip but it would be difficult for other vehicles.
People from that area were having difficulties to make trips to town to receive other basic services such as health care.
