The road project initiated by the Wabag district development authority has reached the Ni-Yair-Pii Gap.
The rest of the remote Maramuni villages can be seen from this gap.
DDA chairman and Wabab MP Lino Tom’s frequent visit and sleepless nights spent with the workers in makeshift tents has encouraged them (workers) to work day and night has paid off.
Maramuni will soon be reached in a few months’ time.
