THE West New Britain provincial government has completed its subsidy payments to its students attending institutions in the country and overseas.
This year the K3.8 million allocated from its internal revenue benefitted 2239 students.
The first payment of K2 million was made in April and the other K1.8 million went to other institutions this week.
Governor Sasindran Muthuvel said education continued to remain the top priority for his government.
He added that Tertiary Education Student Assistance Scheme (Tesas) funding was being given preference over others.
