Woman alleged to send nudes appear in court

A WOMAN who allegedly sent nude pictures of herself to a man on her Whatsapp account appeared before the Waigani Committal Court on Tuesday.
Magistrate Ernest Wilmot granted a K300 bail to Sharmillah Pawah, 25, from Komome village in Ialibu, Southern Highlands, and adjourned the matter to Nov 15.
She is charged with one count of transmitting pornographic materials using a social media platform.
Pawah is alleged to have taken pictures of her breasts and genital at her home in Morata, Port Moresby, and sent them to a man between July 1 and Aug 31.
The man lodged a complaint with police who arrested Pawah.
