Woman who allegedly made defamatory post to be arrested

A JUDGE has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of a woman who allegedly published defamatory comments against a female journalist on social media.
Justice Teresa Berrigan issued the warrant for Quintina Selma Saun after she failed to appear in court.
She had been informed on Nov 25, 2020, that she should appear for trial in the National Court
Justice Berrigan ordered police officers to arrest and bring her to court to be dealt with according to the law. Saun, from East Sepik, was alleged to, between Aug 25 and 29, have used a mobile phone to log into Facebook and comment on a photo of journalist Theckla Gunga.
