TRANS Wonderland Ltd trucking company has contributed over K500 million in taxes to Government coffers, says managing director Larry Andagali.
He said this at the dedication service of five new trucks – a container stacker and a forklift – on Saturday.
The service was led by Pastor Ben Kebaja from Evangelical Church of PNG (ECPNG).
“In a small way, TWL consistently contributed over K500 million in taxes to Government coffers, likewise, taking care of its shareholders’ and employees’ wellbeing,” Andagali said.
“TWL is here to stay and will continue to improve our operations, satisfy shareholder interest, its employee welfare and contribute meaningfully to the growth of our country.”
Andagali said Trans Wonderland Ltd was consistent in paying its shareholder dividends over the last nine years.
He said workplace safety was paramount and no casualties had been recorded so far.
He said the addition of the new machinery was the decision of TWL shareholders.
Andagali said 10 Renault trucks would be acquired early next year to phase out the old fleet.
He also announced the rebranding of TWL logo and its colours in gold, blue and red.
Andagali also announced new opportunities secured in Queensland and Singapore.
He said its plane was involved in survey operations for the Air Niugini plane which recently crashed in waters of Micronesia.
