HEALTH Minister Jelta Wong received his second dose of AstraZeneca vaccination last Tuesday in Morobe.
It was administered by staff at the Braun Hospital in Finschhafen.
National Planning and Monitoring Minister Rainbo Paita received his first dose there as well.
Wong took the first dose of the vaccine on March 30 with Prime Minister James Marape.
In Morobe, Wong announced a major re-development of the hospital as a level 4 district hospital, the design of which was cleared last Monday.
He was accompanied to the Finschhafen by Australian High Commissioner Jon Philp and Lands and Physical Planning Minister John Rosso.
Wong said Braun Hospital was one of the oldest district hospitals built and operated under the Government-church partnership programme that extended for many years since pre-independence.
