Wong praises help that gets police station built

A Lae landowner company has been praised for helping the government and corporate organisations deliver services and projects.
Police Minister Jelta Wong praised Ahi Investment Ltd for helping Lae City Authority (LCA) and businesses to make those projects a reality.
Wong thanked the landowners and International Container Terminal Services Foundation for partnering with the authority. The praises came as Wong gopened on Tuesday the new Malahang police station, whose construction was funded by funded by Container Terminal Services Foundation in partnership with LCA and the police
The police station was built at a cost of K400,000. The city authority paid K100,000 for the fencing.
“The police station was constructed using local resources from landowners,” Wong said. “Partnership here means you guys are going forward.”
