THE Voice Inc held a Clean Generation corporate fundraising dinner in Lae to support youth-led innovations at the Centre for Leadership at the University of Technology on Saturday.
PNG Biomass sponsored a table at the event and was one of the private sector organisations in attendance.
The dinner was part of the Clean Generation Campaign supported by schools, universities, churches and the Government. It served as a platform for students in local high schools and Unitech to showcase ways to harness clean energy and mitigate against climate change.
One innovation presented was a prototype water and windmill clean energy project.
PNG Biomass Health, Safety, Environment and Security supervisor Ninning Jal said PNG Biomass was impressed to see the campaign creating a movement of young people who stood together to be a purposeful, virtuous and responsible generation.
