Abau allocates K140,000 for community projects

ABAU electorate in Central province has allocated more than K140,000 for community projects to 12 local contractors by Deputy Prime Minister and Abau MP Sir Puka Temu.
The projects were recently endorsed by the Abau joint district planning and budget priority committee for infrastructure development for the electorate.
From the total amount of money, K3,317 was for wire fencing for cashew nut project in Cloudy Bay LLG,
K4,250 for tank fitting equipment for Siini ward, K8,262 for labour cost for setting up Aroma coast signboard, K20,000 for launch of Abau district HIV/AIDS council, K17,650 variation on Tolopo Primary School, K22,000 for hydro-power feasibility study for Moreguina and Newtown, K20,125 for vanilla cutting and literacy training programme in Abau, K27,624 to buy musical instruments for Merani block youth, K9,372 to buy vanilla cutting, and K7,920 for Wokabaut News newsletter.
