IT is a pity to read that the sacked Lae City FC coach has influenced 11 players to boycott a NSL match last weekend.
The coach was sacked for his poor performance leading to the team losing games.
Why is he complaining and influencing players to boycott matches?
Franchise owner Ian Chow has the right to hire and fire.
The coach and players should abide by the rules.
If you do not perform simply pack up and leave.
There is no room for complacency.
Sponsors spend time and resources investing in the game and want to see positive results.
Every sporting codes need dedicated sportsmen and sportswomen.
I am happy that Chow has taken a bold step.
