Address gender-based violence

WORKERS Mutual Insurance liquidator BDO, for the first time in 13 years, has published its report.
This breached the law that states that the liquidator should publish frequent reports.
As a shareholder, I am concerned that the liquidator received K7 million during the period.
The liquidator has said that he does not know how many years more he will take to complete this liquidation.
It’s a pathetic performance given that the liquidator collected K44 million selling Workers Mutual Insurance’s (WMI) assets and received K7 million.
We as shareholders are concerned that the liquidator will use up all the money in WMI’s account and we will get nothing.
There is no justification for this travesty of justice.
The authorities should look into this.
