The Eriama Valley Seventh-day Adventist church in the National Capital District has conducted an outreach programme at a village over the weekend.
Communications assistant for the church Elison Angi said the outreach programme was carried out at Hanuabada village.
“Church members gave out food packs and performed worship songs to the people that attended,” Angi said.
“Different choir groups in the church presented their items and we gave away 100 takeaway packs of food and sandwiches.”
Angi said the outreach programme was organised by the church’s Youths, Pathfinders and Adventurers Ambassadors.
He said the programme was aimed at spreading the gospel through songs.
“The main activity was ministering to the people through music so we were singing to them throughout the programme,” he said.
“They enjoyed the programme which was really good.”
